On May 19, National Federation of State High School Association Assistant Director Mary Struckhoff talked to officials, coaches and administrators on the upcoming rules and trends in both softball and basketball.

The three-hour session dealt with safety, rules, upcoming changes and philosophy of the game.

ABOUT MARY STRUCKHOFF

Mary recently completed her eighth year as assistant director of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Among her many responsibilities include serving as editor and national rules interpreter for basketball and softball, staff liaison for the NFHS Officials Association, coordinating the NFHS Officials Education Program, and workshop organization for the NFHS Summer Meeting and National Athletic Administrator’s Conference.
