Tom Yoshida, President, OIA Commsssioner, Treasurer
Tom enters his 26th season with high school basketball and his sixth year as President of OBRA. In 2008, he added the title of OIA Basketball Commissioner responsible for training and evaluation.Tom also
officiates in NCAA Division I (Western Athletic Conference since 1993), NCAA Division II (Pacific West Conference since 1993) and selected to officiate the HHSAA boys (3 times) and girls (4 times) state
championship games. One of his accomplishments was fulfilled as he officiated the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic championship game on Dec. 30, 2000 when fifth ranked Tennessee faced Hawaii. He also served one year as a member of the NFHS basketball rules committee
representing all basketball officials throughout the country. |

Ralph Dela Calsada, Board Member, Evaluation
One of the most respected officials to ever come from the State. Ralph
begins his 44th season in officiating and continues to officiate at a high
level. As co-evaluation chair, Ralph will make observations and report
back to the board. Like many of his fellow board members, he worked at
all levels of basketball including NCAA, NAIA and semi pro leagues. |

Cliff Rodrigues, Board Member, Assignor
In his 29th year of officiating, Cliff is in charge of the implementation of
mechanics and also will serve as the OBRA Assignor. Cliff has called the most state
championship games than any other board member (9 boys and 7 girls)
and coaches are highly respectful of his officiating skills. He continues to
officiate in NCAA Division II as called many high level NCAA Division I
games in his career. |

Pat Silva , Board Member, Mechanics
After serving on OBRA's Advisory Committee from 2003-05, Pat Silva joined the board in 2006. In his 17th season as an official, Pat has the unique perspective of coaching and officiating. He served as head football coach at Castle and assisted at McKinley High School. He also served as President of the Maui Association of Hawaii Basketball Officials for a number of seasons before returning to Oahu. Pat also calls NCAA Division II games and officiated three straight HHSAA boys state championship games from 2006-08. |

Glenn Sales , Board Member, Evaluation
Joining Silva on the Board in 2006 is veteran official Glenn Sales. In his 29th season as an official, Glenn served as a assistant football coach at Waialua High School for many years. He is also active in the community in other sports coaching soccer with his wife. Glenn has officiated the HHSAA boys and girls state championship games twice and also calls NCAA Division II games in the 1990s |

Wayne Yoshino , Secretary, Board Member
A member of the board since 2006, Wayne was originally selected as an at-large member elected by the membership. Upon his completion of his two year term, Wayne was named a full-time board member and elected as Secretary of the Board in 2008. Wayne is in his 2th season of OIA basketball. He also serves as a referee in football on many different levels. He has athletic and administrative experience serving as principal of Hanalani Schools. |
